“Be brave, open a vein, and put it on paper.”

That advice has guided my pen ever since a writing mentor gave it to me years ago. No matter what I’m writing, or more importantly, who I’m writing for, wielding words with heart, enthusiasm, and finesse—and making others feel seen—is my greatest joy.

My expertise is diverse: I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients to develop deliverables that inspire others to act; interviewed New York Times–bestselling and Pulitzer Prize–winning authors; helped companies, tech firms, and nonprofits craft and edit their content (digital and print) for clarity, cohesion, and voice; collaborated closely with designers (they’re my people) on projects large and small; and much more. And as a former managing editor at Writer’s Digest, I’ve also done a lot of (surprise!) writing about writing.
